In 1995 I completed a Master of Education (Computer Education) at Charles Sturt University and am now doing a PhD. I have been an educator for ten years. Teaching computing studies, science, maths, English and English as a Second Language. My experience ranges from Kindergarten to university students to other educators. I have also given presentations at the NSWCEG conference and have had a paper on web publishing printed in their 1997 conference procedings.
My interest in the internet began in 1993 when I began using a text only Unix internet connection. From there I graduated to a SLIP connection and have never looked back. I created the WHYED home page and related pages, which I purposely left plain in order not to discourage those who surf with either earlier versions of Netscape and/or with auto load images turned off. I also created the Fudoshin web site.
Since then I have also worked on the Department of Education and Training's web site, Network for Education. I have some other projects on the boil as well and will provide links to those as soon as they are ready.
I'm a Project Officer Internet for the Department of Education and Training. As part of my duties there I have helped to create 11 curriculum support documents:
All of these documents are going out free to NSW Governement schools and copies are available for sale to non-government schools.
